My fish is fresh!

Going on holiday or being by the sea makes you want to eat a nice plate of fish caught at dawn. Catch of the day, stalls, markets and restaurants: here’s all the information you need to enjoy a delicious meal in Grimaud or the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.

1. The fisherman of Port Grimaud

It doesn’t get much more local than this! Sonny, a fisherman in Port Grimaud, goes out to sea to bring you his best catches of the day. Fancy a taste? Here’s how:
– Send a text message to Sonny on +33 (0)7 69 26 47 44 giving your name
– Sonny will get back to you when he returns to port and tell you about his catch of the day
– Meet him at the stall at 271 rue de l’Amarrage: first come, first served!

Please note: daily catch according to season and quantity. No fishing in January and February, very limited fishing in July and August.

2. Halle de Grimaud

La Halle de Grimaud has established itself as the place to go for local, fresh, organic and short-circuit produce in Grimaud. Fruit and vegetables, groceries, butchers, cheesemongers and, of course, fish!
Every day, you’ll find a superb display of top-quality fish, shellfish and crustaceans. Fancy a seafood platter? You can order it or eat it on the spot, especially on Sundays when there’s live music.

4. Fish markets

Gulf of Saint-Tropez
