Going fishing

1. Sea fishing

Fishing on foot, sport fishing or underwater fishing: in the Mediterranean you can indulge your passion.
Of course, there are regulations and restrictions that must be respected to protect the fauna, flora and people around you.

In Grimaud, fishing (shellfish gathering or with a fishing rod) is authorised between 16th September and 14th June – except in Port Grimaud due to port activity.

2. River/lake fishing

Near Grimaud, in the Var department, there are a number of lakes and rivers to suit both beginner and experienced freshwater fishermen.
Fishing spots, “special anglers” holidays, “no kill” courses and regulations are all available to help you fish the way you should.

3. Sea fishing trips

Whether you’re an enthusiast or a hobbyist, professionals are on hand to accompany you on sea fishing trips for big game or inshore fishing.

Fishing is good, but eating the fish is even better!
If you haven’t caught anything or the weather hasn’t been kind enough to enjoy a good spot of fishing, then restaurants, catch of the day and local markets are there to satisfy your fish craving!
