A good time to be had with Feydeau and his play ‘Chat en poche’ performed by the CRET troupe.
Monsieur Pacarel, a wealthy merchant, wants to give a performance of his fiancée's opera Julie to establish his reputation. To do this, he hires a tenor from Bordeaux, and when the tenor arrives, he mistakes him for the son his friend Dufausset is sending him to boarding school to study law. And off they go! Very quickly, no one understands who the other is, or what's going on - the confusion is total.
