A bit of etymology: "La Galine" comes from the word "Volaille"; "Les Vernades" comes from "verne", which means "alder". The alder is a tree that grows on the banks of rivers. The name "Embaude" comes from an old family name (1445) Baude.
Walk along and cross small streams that feed the river Garde and the Giscle. These two rivers, often dry on the surface in summer, have created the Grimaud plain.
Path set up by the Communauté de Communes du Golfe de Saint-Tropez.
This is a medium to fairly difficult hike, depending on the route.
