Les Medievales Grimaud 21In the thousand-year-old grounds of Grimaud Castle, come and cheer on the knights and their mounts during the “Medieval Cabaret”, where 10 artists and riders take the stage for an equestrian show combining jousting, archers and fire displays on horseback.
In 2024, three performances are available at 5.15pm, 7.30pm and 9.45pm, with free admission (lasts 60 min).
As if suspended in time, the streets come alive with companies of troubadours, knights and their swords and a great atmosphere wherever you go. Medieval market, village and encampment, children’s villages, music, shows, a family photo rally, knightings, fire show and lots more bring Grimaud’s alleyways to life.
Come evening, the alleys are like an old abandoned wooden chest that you open: so dive back into the past, where you can discover forgotten treasures with all their accompanying aromas to bring back memories.
Here, the air is redolent with the familiar smell of straw, animals and half-full tankards.
Let’s talk tankards! What would a medieval evening be without a feast worthy of the name? Tavern keepers and innkeepers are, of course, on hand to feed our faces. A great medieval banquet (from 7.30pm) and then a “snack” area are available on site for a well-deserved break.
On the menu: Italian melon & raw ham, mixed grill (marinated chicken and sausage skewer) & sautéed potatoes, deconstructed lemon tart. Dinner on site, without reservation, single price of €19 – excluding drinks – refreshment bar also available).
Not forgetting the village innkeepers and their traditional menus to delight us all year round.
